Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but here is where are all the audiophiles are *please move to a different forum of this is the case*

What is the best device to bootleg a concert in terms of small, portable digital recorders?  I would like to go to a concert and pull out my recorder, and have a great sounding bootleg.  It needs to be small, and not too expensive.  Anyone know anything about this?

I wonder of this one would be good.  It looks like it avoids the minidisc, and is not too expensive:

Depends on the Microphone capabilities, the first mics i used with the minidisc were for spoken word only as music bass just bassed everything out, it totally fucked my Greece and Sheffield Recordings

Yes, that is a concern because these are called "voice" recorders.  A lot of people use them for recording lectures.  I'd imagine it is better to try it from a store that will allow you to exchange it if it doesn't get the job done.  Right now, I just make bootlegs from turning my digital camera on video, and then ripping the audio using Total Recorder.  But I would like to get a better sound quality, without spending TOO much.
