ummm...1999? a LOT of things have changed since then.
I doubt axl just scrapped the entire plan he had and fifty songs. He was talking about something similar durring the 2002 tour though.
he scrapped the 'it's 5 o'clock somewhere" stuff and slash took it. yea, similar, but not exactly like that. originally, all the songs were gonna be electronic, but they changed producers to make it sound more epic, then they switched producers to make it more straight ahead AFD style rock and now axl's producing it. so yea, we'll see what we get, but i doubt it's gonna stick like that.
