GN'R at Gods of Metal?

The "Gods Of Metal" is an italian metal festival, promoted by Live (www.liveinitaly.com). On Live site there are the bands confirmed for the event:

WHITESNAKE
DIMMU BORGIR
STRATOVARIUS
TESTAMENT
GAMMA RAY
ANGRA
SONATA ARCTICA
VISION DIVINE
NEVERMORE
CRUCIFIED BARBARA
BENEDICTUM

At the end, the Live staff writes that for the headliner's name we must have "just a little patience"...

yea, i've never heard of this festival...or most of the bands on it.  which makes me doubt the authenticity, and it was probably a joke on the GN'R fans.

but.  

in the world of GN'R, you never know.

Hmm.. I don't think they will play on a metal festival.
Dimmu Borgir, Nevermore etc... are good bands but very heavy... (Death + Black Metal)

I don't think GnR can play such a festival...

a few months ago, "Live" claimed to be in contact with GnR and other bands (AC/DC and other main acts) to find two big-name-bands to headline the two days of the Gods of Metal festival (June 3 and 4)

they are saying that as 2006 is Year 10th for the Festival they want big main acts, including not strictly metal ones.

Could happen. Iron Maiden and Motley Crue played last year so GN'R and AC/DC or someone woul fit in well

depends where you live. most of those bands are quite popular among headbangers here.
I dont think that any of these bands could compare with GNR, but I do wish it's true.\s

of course, the guy who wrote it might have ment "Just a little patience" no gnr relation.
