I probably read about 15 posts a day that say madagascar is a good song, so let's just all post it here, and get rid of this cliche.

I like madagascar, and I really like the solo.
Robin is a great guitar player. I really hope chinese democracy comes out soon.

I agree... Its a very good balad and I like it a lot... its very deep.... and has lots of metaphors and symbols in.... Axl used to be more direct but now he uses lots of symbolism i guess.... but the song fuckin' rocks!!! it will be a hit... no doubt about that... just not as big as NR...

P.S. - I like 'the blues' better...

I tried to figure it out last night for the first time at the keys. Pretty simple, but still very good. I like the metaphors and shit. It gets kinda repetative but i have the feeling that on the recording that its just gonna be one of those songs that instantly takes you to another place, just has this amazing vibe.

Not mention. Its neva tooboboboboobobobobb late

It is kinda repetetive. Not that many lyrics for GnR especially. But Axl's singing is beautiful especially that howl after the first verse. It's a classic sound as old as time but as new as my haircut.

speaking of quotes i was watching the clip of Cool Hand Luke that has the Civil War Quote and when he said it, after listening to Civil War so much it was weird not having the Song come in after he said "What we have here is Failure to Communicate".

PS. I love Madagascar but yea i prefer the blues.

I like the blues more like most people it seems but I think when/if studio versions get realesed madagascar will be the better song. The blues doesnt seem like it could get any better than it is, madagascar seems like a lot more could be done with it and it could be great

Man.... I hope Axl doesn't read this because then he'll go right back to studio and work it all over again... and that would mean.... no Chinese democracy this year

I'd rather wait 10 more years and get a great album, then get it now and get bunch of half finished songs.
