The last 3 movies i saw.

JAPON
a mexican movie about a man, from the city, who just walks away. get to a reclusive village in the moutains, and starts living with an old lonely woman there ... and his primitive feelings emerge. slow. sexual - a VERY troubling sex scene between that man (45+ years old), who is a little crippled, and his host, a 70+ woman - VERY wierd. you can feel the scene coming. and i tell you. it's shocking. but the movies just appears so ppowerful after that.

FORSAKEN LAND
a movie from Sri Lanka - south east of asia ... -  maybe 50 words in 2 hours. but amazing. great landscape and ambiance. it's about some characters, a military guard, his wife, his sister, their daughter and some other random people. in this lost part, of an already lost country. we don't really know if a war is going on or not - a tank keeps coming by - ... great movie tho.

and then LORD OF WAR. not bad for a big flick. it wasnt produced by the big studios tho.

so if you can find a way to see these movies, fuck spielberg

I'd say the film that most upset me was One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest. I have a lot of compassion for mentally ill people and can't deal with it when they're being treated like animals.

fuck knows. i'll find out tho. The guy was by a long long way the most intelligent person i've ever met (too bad he's a paranoid, obsessive compulsive huh?) and he spoke in glowing terms of the film.
