Do u think chinese democracy will bring back rock. Guns n roses brought rock back into the mainstream that fateful day when SCOM was played on mtv. Do u think they'll be able to do it again. Personally im sick of having to listen to people say falloutboy and greenday are rock. I want people to remember what true rock is! What do u think can they do it?

i doubt that Guns n' Roses will be able to bring back rock just from the leaks we have all heard (which were awsome) but there needs to be a HUGE massive hit like SCOW and WTTJ to bring rock back.

Its so annoying how nobody gets to hear all the classic, true, good rock bands and beleive rock is "greenday" and "good charlotte" (though they were quite good when they came out).

It would be awsome if ROCK came back and we got rid of all that same old boring RAP with a silent C.

Seeing as the songs on Chinese Democracy are not really rock n roll I don't think Guns will either.

I doubt one band alone will be able to bring back rock n' roll. Let's just face it: A band has to be young and make a difference. Guns have been all that in the 80s. They where outlaws, young and they didn't care. Well, they might still not care by now but they're pretty old and Axl's a millonaire. Come on..."Out Ta Get Me" is not really a fitting song for such a band anymore.

As much as I want Rap and HipHop to dissapear I don't see it happen because 99% of all new "rock" bands are crap. That is because all the singing sounds alike and nobody can play guitar anymore. No solos just chord shredding...although I must admit I don't completly hate bands like Green Day (infact I do quite enjoy them sometimes) I could also live my life without hearing their music ever again.

whole rock'n'roll feel was created by Izzy and Slash. We can have lots of November Rain, Estranged or Garden Of Eden type songs (which is good of course) it will be very surprising to have songs like Dust'n'bones, Doble Talkin Jive, Mr. Brownstone, Back Off Bitch.

So I don't think GNR will bring back rock'n'roll. but it will hopefully bring back some good quality music.

Yeah I also miss good Metallica... pear jam... old Bon Jovi... and old U2....  only guns will not be able to bring back rock.. cause other band are shity... but with the help from others... things could change...

Hmm. Its a difficult question. Cos this music is quality stuff, i mean real good, but can we class it as rock and roll? i don't think so, but this is the thing now...rock and roll has been adapted into many new and different styles. But this new guns still have the 'in your face' kinda style that the we need.

rock n roll would only truly return with slash duff izzy and axl together. Maybe in a few years eh?

Well who knows? The hype around Chinese Democracy is just growing and growing. So there is really two ways the release can go: It can be a massive flop or on the other hand, CD can really be worth all the hype and waiting. In any case, the media will take notice of this realese. CD isn't just a rock record, it starts a new era... Time will tell how popular Chinese Democracy will grow.

I'm I the only one who feels like Axl and the guys have started working on CD really for like a year now?

I'm pretty sure Chinese Democracy is an album with a quality nobody has reached in years and years. Best album we've heard since we lost our Illusion...remember? Axl is the only one that can put rock in its place, and we can be ready 'cause Chinese Democracy starts...NOW.
