Real Fender or Fender Squier?

If it's a Fender Squier, hold by the neck and repeatily whack on floor.

To add more depth to your distortion, stick a humbucker in the bridge. You'll have to cut out the right dimensions to stick the humbucker in (humbuckers cost about £60-£80) but shops can do that for you.

Roll roll roll yer joint, twist it doon the end, take a puff that's enough pass it tae a friend.

Well what else do you want to do to it?

A Real Fender should remain as it is.

I wouldn't even change the sratchplate.

Yeah...what kila said...or if you dont want to start cutting holes, put some Seymour duncan hotrails in there....gives you the humbucking sound, in single coil size.

it's really some good advice....      but if you are just starting out then I wouldnt swap pickups for awhile... maybe even after a year.

now I really want an EMG loaded strat!!
What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

Axl: I said I'm going on ChiDem now and he said whatever & walked away other than that I've been busy.

The edge comes from your playing, not neccessarily the guitar.

Indeed, my friend has a fender strat (mexican) it's a beautiful guitar to play, doesn't need adjusting at all. IMO it doesn't need making better, they sound amazing.

good choice. thats what i have in all my guitars are EMG pickups. and there not the crappy HZ series. my Dean  79' series Z(Looks similar to gibson explorer) has the dual EMG 81's, my Epiphone Les Paul has the 81/85 set and my gibson explorer has the 81/60 set
