Well, the Dust n' Bones mailing list enlightened me on a little spattering on Spin.com that proves an interesting read...well, at least in one aspect.  If you click on the hyperlink for the band's official site...it links you to www.gunsnroses.us.  Hmm...BP...I know with all the recent announcements the site has grown from just a fansite to that of a legitmate news center...but official site?  Are you hiding something?  :unibrow:

Maybe its because if they gave you www.gnronline.com you would just get a crappy graphic and nothing else and BP actually provides us with credible news on a regular basis...

many top news sites & even news agencies have noticed too. the tricky part is keeping up with it & hope the team continues to contribute to the news team. I am so busy with all of this, I don't think people realize.

Hey, I just thought I would pass along a little congratulatory statement in regards to the recent successes of your sites.  Your site always amazed me at the level of professionalism that went into it, and with each subsequent site overhaul you've managed to surpass your previous achievements.  The attention to detail (save for the occasionally misspelled word  :p) and time spent on the look and feel is top notch and ANY band should be honored to have such a dedicated group of fans work on something of this magnitude.  Honestly, Axl SHOULD make this the official site...it beats the pants off of most bands' sites, let alone their fans' sites.  Keep up the great work.

I thought I recognized that post from somewhere, but I couldn't quite place it.  Great memory there.

I'm trying to figure out if your post is tinged in sarcasm or not.  I personally hate mygnr's design.  I like the black of their newsgroup (its easier on my eyes), but the main site itself just doesn't pop for me.  Of course, I just tried to access it to see if its been updated recently, and I get a network error saying the web site can't be accessed at this time.  Nice.

Its just a forum and a page listing the tour dates....in a font color that is hard to read against a black background.  Nice intro image...but its not of the same quality/content as gunsnroses.us.  But I do like the black background (hint hint BP....a black-based theme would be a nice addition to the current format  :unibrow:)

I'm not saying its a bad site, because its a lot better than some I've been too, but its still in its infancy and there isn't much of substance besides the forum, and I'm a bit tired of joining new forums at the moment...especially a new one that is just rehashing the same stuff all the others are talking about.  I'll probably give it another whirl in a few weeks, but as of right now, there's just not much keeping me there.  I'd be the new kid on the block whereas I've been coming here since 2003 and feel that "family" feeling here.
