and we must remember, that yeah, slash's career after gnr wasnt amazing, but thats becuase he was stuck with matt sorum and duff. While axl, he hired professionals to play. Buckethead? For fucks sake, the man is amazing, hes easily one of the best guitarists around.
Im not saying Axl sucks or anything, the mans a genius, but show a little respect for Slash.

Actually, I suspect we will get a lot more visitors as GNR's popularity increases again.

If CD becomes a success then GNR's popularity will increase.If not then people will most likely believe that GNR cannot survive without Slash,Izzy,Duff,etc.

so far waiting has been a part of my days...
once it's out it'll probably feel like i'm loosing a little piece of me.

I guess I'll be waiting for a tour, appearence, video or next album after that.

I have to agree with Lucky.  Ever since my parents got the internet back in '94, I have been trolling newsgroups, forums, newsletters, fan sites, etc just trying to get my GnR fix, hoping for a new album.  After 12 long years, once CD drops...all that waiting will have paid off...but suddenly that motivation that has kept me coming back day after day, year after year will be gone.  Sure, I'll still be a frequent visitor to this board and a few others, and there's no reason my emails from the DnB mailing list would stop...but its gonna be a bittersweet ending to a wait that has consumed almost half of my life.  

As for this site...I think the influx of first-time visitors is gonna be "off-the-hook".  Think about it.  Album comes out.  Random Avenged Sevenfold fans that know a band their parents listened to named Guns N' Roses is a huge influence on their favorite band are gonna type in the album title into Google and up pops this site.  Naturally they click on it, assuming its an official GnR site...and bam...sucked into the fray.  And while traffic is always good...it makes a 26 year old suddenly feel very old when some of these new fans weren't even born when AFD was released.  Fun times lie just around the corner.  Are you ready?
