Yeah! I just heard "Cather in the Rye", It's amazing, I love it Brain May'solo is good, I think it will be another classical song of GNR!!!  
Now,we have heard some songs of the new album, they are so strong, "Better" "TWAT" "Madagascar" they can all release as a good single, they sound better than Velvet Revolver, right? they will bring the new fans!!!  GNR rocks!!!!

This thread needs to be locked.  I appreciate your enthusiasm for the new material and all, but this GnR v. VR shit needs to die.  They are two different bands, and judging by Axl's "new" sound, in total different universes, musically.  You can't compare the two on any level than the fact that the songs are music.  Its just not fair or right.  Again, I am glad you like the new tunes, but seriously, I am sick of these threads....this is one of the reasons I stopped being an active member of this board when it came back online...too much us versus them mentality spewing forth.  The band split, went their different ways, and are creating music the way they want...just be happy they are doing something positive with their lives...they could all be like Adler and a complete mess.

dont go way to fast on things: VR has a hell of a lineup with scott weiland wich means a GOOD BAND except that dave kruger(rythm guitar who act as slash biatche) and that band tour, they sell records and they are active as a band.

GNR has a few demos(wich are great dont get me wrong!) but no band really but some mucisican now and then comming in and leaving because the process is long so, no touring since 2002 and stops in middle of a world tour! where is the album? in talking since i'm a young boy.

dont get me wrong once gain because i am a big gun fan really fan
but to compare the bands for the moment you cant....somebodies are actives and someone is not.
