Anybody know anything about "Crash Diet" it's a cool raw track but I would think it would be on CD, doesn't sound like Buckethead on guitar either.

I’m 99,9% sure that they will release a single at least 6 to 8 weeks in advance of the album release. Though according to the response to the leaks they know now that there is still a large public for GnR, but you also have to realize that there is a immense group of people and potential fans that need sort of a wake up call.

With the enormous amount of money put in this project Geffen are for 300% sure gonna lounge a huge publicity campaign.  Therefore they need a big…..and I mean a BIG!! single (and if you’re thinking about one of the recent leaks that we’ve recently heard…….dream on) to stir things up and get people interested in this band again. Count on it!

I recon a single ‘round half may and a mid june album release. Not releasing the album or single while the band is playing Europe would be foolish and missing a huge opportunity to get a large festival public into the band again. Don’t worry for 99,9% sure a new single will be there before the summer………then again with GnR you’ll never know…

Well if Axls still mastering the record that rules out an March, April and May release.

Maybe Kerrang were right about it being a Summer release.

mastering would take a week at max.

Axl would still need to hear it alot of times before he would be happy with it!!!!!!

more hearsay, sounds pretty credible to me as Axl has been in NYC for a few weeks dating back to his birthday...I would guess he's over there cleaning up the masters or working on the marketing ect...I'd say we might see it in May or June since there is no official word anywhere yet.

For some reason I am still feeling that Buckethead may return, but I could just be very hopeful since he's playing some so cal gigs next month.

I was listening to the extended version of "TWAT", I'd have to say that's my fav demo so far...the others are great "IRS" has that raw Axl energy...Better is really a cool track and "Catcher" has grown on me too...I really love them all and have been wating like all the rest of you for years now.  Anybody know anything about "Crash Diet" it's a cool raw track but I would think it would be on CD, doesn't sound like Buckethead on guitar either.

Not true. Richard Fortus was in the studio in December to record some more parts for CD.
