it's been a month - What the fuck is Slash waiting for?!!!

it's been over a week now(EDIT-month), and he still didn't respond!!!!
what the fuck is he waiting for?
Good thing he's not in the band any more. If it takes him 10 days to respond to a possible insult, can you imagine how long it would take him to help write the music

It took him less than a year to help write the music for Contraband, even while working on live shows, perfecting solos and being with his family. Axl's on his 13th year. And he doesn't seem to have anything besides laziness as his excuse.

You cant compare writing music and responding to lawsuits/insults, I think.
However, I completely agree with you that this whole thing has taken a unrealistic amount of time.

Dont you think there is a lot of factors that we on this forum dont know about? Maybe he have some fucking 'know it all' lawyers/counslers that tell him not to?

Go easy on me on this one Lucky, just let me play with the thought: Maybe he doesnt want to pic a fight with Axl, because he is concidering to rejoin the band, as it fits in with the avaible leadguitar 'role'.....

I can think of better things for Slash to do than bothering to engage Axl in yet another tantrum. He had a good ten years or so of that while in GN'R.

That's what I tought, but that would mean that it's true what Axl said, but another scenario is that he is planning to sue Axl? That would explain why it took this much time.

I really doubt that there's any chance of him rejoining the band any time in the near future.

yes I know, but for the past 2-3 months he didn't mind talking about CD with out anybody ever asking him about it, and now when the whole net is watching he goes under a rock

I haven't really tought about Slash throwing a contra-suit on Axl, but it wouldnt been unrealistic if he(Slash) and Duff did a thing like that...

However, when VR did theyr tour last year, and visited Norway, Slash and Duff did an interwiew with an Norwegian TV musicmagazine (Lydverket).
During the interwiew the conversation lead in to Axl and Gn'R. Slash said something like this: "I'm finish with the whole Axl thing". Later in the interwiew they said "Axl is a very bitter man, but we dont want to talk any shit about him, he's a great guy thou".

This tooke place several months ago, so of course Slash & co may have changed theyre opinions regarding the whole Axl "feude"...

Guess we'll have to see....

wow...maybe slash focuses on what matters--making music, maybe slash has priorities, maybe slash is sick and tired of name calling and finger pointing, or maybe slash just doesnt care. whatever it is, give it a rest. so fucking dumb

Slash focuses on his wallet and habits, that's about it. Axl is not lazy. Just look at the videos, he's the one running around all over the place on stage and barely breaks a sweat. The others are dripping buckets standing there. But, I do know that playing instruments does cause alot of juices to flow. Axl's support system is different than Slashes. I REALLY understand what he's been doing. Lawsuits are no walk in the park and depending on the support system have to be handled properly. However, Axl's support system blows away Slashes anyday .. as in much stronger and smarter. Cool
