So far I've loved everything that has been leaked but my problem is that with the exception of the song 'Chinese Democracy' nothing has really reminded of me of Appetite.  'Estranged' is my favourite song but I don't want to hear an entire album of epics like that.  I'm hoping that there's some aggression for us to wait for.

I wouldnt think it would remind you of AOD unless they covered it, and then it wont really either. With the exception of two members, its a whole new band with all new influences. Seeing the backgrounds of the new guitarists, I hope to see a wide range of music.

A valid wish to hope for something like Appetite.  At least one or two.  I agree Better is pretty heavy, but the chorus isn't.

Chinese Democracy is basically a more focused version of UYI I and II.

prostitute sounds heavy, but whether it will be a good song is a different matter, the lyrics don't say much

I'm not hoping for AFD2 because that sort of thing is complete bullshit.  But the illusions still offered some edgy tracks like 'Don't Damn Me' and 'You Could Be Mine.'  Guess I'm just saying that I hope that they don't get caught up in making the perfect song that they realize why people are fans of GNR.
