AS FOR MR ROSE, I HAVE NO DOUBT HE IS STILL GENUINELY AND PROFOUNDLY GIFTED, AND IT IS SELF EVIDENT THAT HE HAS PROVIDED MORE INSIGHT AND MEMORABILITY IN A SINGLE LINE OF COMPOSITION THAN MR WEILLAND HAS MANAGED IN AN ENTIRE CAREER.

Thank you Alan Niven for being someone in a position to be able to know the truth and actually saying something intelligent. Not to mention having Axl's back....Very Cool. ok, i think ppl are too bisased. 1st of all ,wth duz chinese democrfacy have to do with weiland? 2nd, weiland is not a fraud, he has released albums in the past with STP, and they were  NOT bad at all. ITs all preference, if you don't like his music, just dont say anything abt it. Whycomplain abt sumthing that duznt affect you.... AnywaYS give credit to weiland as a singer, he musta dun sumthin right to become famous. He also duz not sound exactly like eddie vedder, contrary to popular belief. So lets await chinese democracy anxiously instead of bitching abt weiland just cuz of anti-VR bandwagons.

And i think he is right, he is wasting slash and duff/matt as it stands, they should lock him away in the fucking rehab centre he came from so we can put this all behind us.

So Scott Weiland has no talent why... because Core hasn't sold as many copies as Appetite?!?  Personally, I think Core was the low point of STP's career and that they were a band that improved with every band and attempted to stretch their boundaries by being more than just a 'grunge' band.  I don't agree with the comments he made about Axl but I certainly think he is talented.  To pinpoint Scott for his sound on 'Plush' is to suggest that Axl can only do 'Welcome to the Jungle.'  Don't bash Scott because you wish that Slash, Duff, and Matt were still in GNR.

Scott has talent, i agree, but in reality let's face it, he isn't and never will be a rock god like Axl, he can prolly sing better then william hong, or whatever that chinese guy from american idol's name was, but other than that guy you'd be pushing it to find a worse singer~
