this makes sense, they are based in New York, and Axl has been there for a while now. I think the cd has just been mastered or is in the process.

I don't know if I'd trust a MySpace blog...do they have an official site with this stuff?

And what are they doing with the Beatles? Could it be some long-needed remasters and reissues of all the classic albums?
