This is pretty much the same rumor as one from late january. Back then it said that George Marino from Sterling Sounds was mastering a Guns cd. Manegement shot it down, but who knows...

It was handed to  sterling on november 17th 2005,  this is old news. Its still on sterlingsound.com under george marinos currents projects.
I sold my van to some guy down by the river...

- It appears that Marino has been working on this since late november.
- The first time I saw this rumor was in january (some of the first Axl in New York stories - possibly related?, no real news, the first tour announcements was about a month away.
- It is said on the Sterling Sound website ( www.sterling-sound.com/ ) that Marino has mastered Lies, UYI 1+2, Spaghetti Incident and Live Era

- To me it doesn't seem like something they (S S) have pulled out of their ass.
- Considering the amount of time this (aparently) has been going on, one could assume that at least the mastering is finishing soon (or already finished).

Does this make sense?

PS: Has anybody noticed that George Marino has mastered Contraband?
