does this guy have the cd "(performed, I assume, by either Buckethead, Robin Finck, Zakk Wylde, Johnny Marr, or Brian May -- all five are listed in the liner notes)". or is he just pulling this shit outta nowhere???

He's just tryna move ahead in the journalistic world. And who better to choose the Axl right now?

What are your current thoughts about Kurt Cobain?

Axl: I said I'm going on ChiDem now and he said whatever & walked away other than that I've been busy.

I get the impression most of the 13 songs were written between 1993 and 1999

and when i saw that Silkworms had made the final tracklist.

I found it interesting and a clever satire.  I doubt Axl will find it amusing.  Some of the track references were funny.
The one about the rap song considering Axl did actually record a track with Shaq.
And having songs about Axl slagging his critics in the traditional of "Get In The Ring."  Unfortunately the references are hopelessly out of date.

I'm sure Axl will read every review written about Chinese Democracy when it finally comes out.  And the critics are gonna have a field day with it.  Even if it's as great as "Sgt Pepper" and "Exile On Main Street" the critics are still gonna take some cheap shots at it.

Maybe the criticism will inspire Axl to record an ultra angry, inspired album filled with venom & spite.  Maybe he'll get hungry again.

To be fair, thats one of the funniest articles on the album I've ever read. The 14 MINUTE rap-rock anthem. lmao. And the reference to skeletenized trance and RCA's advance. Oh god i had to laugh. Come on guys, lets lighten up! :D
