The official Alice in Chains page says they will be playing with Velvet Revolver on 7-2-06.  Maybe Slash and Duff are back in gnr,  Buckethead is in V.R., Tommy Stinson in The Replacements, and well Velvet Revolver now needs a bass player.

That show is a GN'R show too.  Either it is a mistake, a major clue to something (I doubt it) or GN'R and VR are playing a show together!

Scratch that.  Looks like AIC used the website for the listing of the other bands playing without realizing that it has not been updated since the 2005 show.  VR and Black Sabbath played last summer; GN'R should be there this summer.  Sorry for the confusion.

I think those that don't want to see a reunion are the younger fans.  I am 29 and remember what it was like to see Axl and Slash play together and it was magic.  You can't deny the chemistry between those two.  People underestimate how Slash's riffs complimented the GNR library of songs, at least the younger fans anyway.

I'm a younger fan, and really appreciate being given the chance to hear Guns again as i couldn't in their hay day - minor technicality but i was born in 89! I would like only Slash to rejoin but not yet. It would slow things down and be unfair on the current memnbers, whats more is that if no reunion occurs, we can still be happy - we've all heard the leaks!!
