Sweet!
G/J.

That inspired me to grab the paul and play some rythym to it. I cant do any of the leads with any success.

I didnt hear you playing slashes bit on the second part of the main rythym where he picks through D,G, A, right before the chorus. This is pretty cool, and Im going to grab the paul and play to it in a few.

Is it a bit fast though? I know they play it faster live, and this sound about right. But the stdio version is slower isnt it?

Don't know what you mean by the picking rhythm before the chorus?

I think it is slightly faster than the studio version, this one is about 125bpm, studio is 120bpm I think.

Sorry man, Id post the string, but I cant find it. I learned from the official GnR AFD music book. Its the second set in the rythym where axl sings Now and then when I see her face.. and Her hair reminds me of a warm safe place. But then I cant hear the post intro rythym as far as what slash plays in the studio at all..

I cant really hear what the clean guitar is doing, but it doesnt sound like the studio. I know you arent playing exactly what the studio version is and thats fine, but I was expectiong to hear it is all. IMO, its be a great addition if you mixed in slashes studio rythym parts as well.

I couldnt do better without some serious practice, but hearing what you have posted so far I think you could. Not trying to offend you, just trying to help you wow um..

Peace!

Yeh there is the acoustic bit but I didn't realise I had it at such a low volume in the mix.

I'm just plucking out the acoustic chords in a similar pattern to what Slash does, but he does a variation up the neck on the second part of the verse which I've never bothered to learn.

I really should though...it's a nice wee doodle.
