If the album fails to surface?

We've been told we're in for a suprise and everyone is pretty sure the album is coming this year. So if it doesnt we're gonna be suprised! I'll keep logging in, hoping, for a long time to come but then again i've only been waiting for 3 YEARS! What about you? Is it now or never for the Guns faithful?

To be honest. If the album didn't come out, it would be ridiculous. The guy, if we're all honest, doesn't deserve any fans if he fails to deliver this time. If 10 years ago he'd have said ok, im going away for 10 years, then i'll be back, then fair enough.

However, he leads every single one of you on by drip feeding nothing more than HINTS. He's never been clear with the fans, and its about time uncle axl delivered.

i fit don't come out this year i will be fucking pissed. 10 fucking years and we all still come hear everyday hoping for news. what the hell is his problem. it keeps geting built up and then when it does come out i hope its good because the critics are just going to rip into it like there is no tomorow. and tommy said that the material was pretty much compleated 4 years ago. come on he should of released 3 years ago he needs to get his shit together

The thing is, Axl never asked anybody to do anything for him. He didn't ask the fans to wait for this album. He doesn't ask you to come on this site. He owes nothing to anyone aside from the record companies money, if any of that's true, because unlike so many people i don't know for sure so i won't say for sure.
But seriously, the more people bitch about this shit the more evident it is of how empty ones life is to say that if  guns don't release an album there'll be hell to pay and you'll hate them forever and they're assholes and so on and so forth. I don't understand so much of what i read and hear from guns n' roses 'fans' considering the music the band has made for you to listen to, i'd have thought your outlook would be different but it's clear that everyone interprets things quite differently.

don't get me wrong i love guns n roses and i know chinese democracy is going to be the best album of 2006 but i guess im getting frustrated by the lack of news and info given out by the band. they got a tour coming up and they haven't said a word.

I respect the fact he's living upto the name

I respect the fact he wants to do his best ever.

I respect its a whole group of new musicians.

But I also respect myself, as a fan, and as a person. I can't keep being ridiculed like this, surely. Theres been 10 years for him to make a good album, and hopefully thats enough time, and this is pathetic, having to cling on to strands of hope.

I don't wanna say, fuck axl rose, or fuck guns n roses, but i also don't wanna fuck myself around. and thats the harsh reality of things...guns n roses fans have been treated poorly.

And i'll buy the album whenever it comes out, but would i have the same respect if theres another failed release this year?

I'll leave that for you to contemplate.

maybe it should (don't come out). After all, those chinese demo(s)-cracy tracks that surfaced are not so good even if they are better than the live tracks we heard during the 2002 tour... We still have good values with the old albums

True, axl doesn't owe us anything. He clearly doesn't feel like he owes us anything thats for sure.

What I find so strange is that most other musicians try to engage themselves with their fans as a thankyou gesture, because after all it was our money that bought his records and is now sitting in his bank account. We are the people that made him who he is, without his fans he is just another random dude in the street. Maybe he resents his fans for making him so popular. Maybe he is sick of it all and he just wants to be some random dude in the street.

I guess it shows you should be careful what you wish for because it might just come true.
