So my fine fishy friend...what exactly lured you to Guns N Roses in the first place????

in the first place? probably oh my god from rir. i liked the band before then and all that, and had seen the illusions as an uneasy attempt to move forward musically.

in the performance of oh my god i saw a geniuine step forward.

why?

....and I don't appreciate being called a muppet...that's why I called you fishy...and i'll take it back if you will. :)

like i care what you appreciate. and that implies that i took some offence at being called fishy.

you took the phrase kill your idols to be literal. that is completely idiotic. therefore i called you a muppet, ie a creature that talks but obviously has no sense.
Founding fathers. You're shittin' me. The only one from the Appetite era who founded GN'R with Axl n' Tracii was Izzy!

Original members. Take a look at your fuckin' dictionary n' see what ORIGINAL means. Slash was just one more. In 30 years from now, Slash will be just a rock cartoon figure who died from a O.D. n' the few ones who'll still remember him will say things like "Oh, do your remember that funny dude?" but Guns N' Roses n' Axl will both be still standin' strong n' better than ever
Dude...you had to hear Guns in order to like them...I didn't start listening to Guns because of Traci Guns...he was shit...he had his own band, L.A.  Guns to try and compete with GN'R back in the day.  So as far as putting time into the actual incarnation and writing solos that your pansy ass has been listening to, Slash has done more than Traci Guns has even thought of doing...and he IS a "founding father."  As far as Slash nowadays...it sucks shit...I hate Velvet Revolver and yeah he mayaswell become a cartoon 30 years from now...all I'm saying is show some respect where it is due.

Actually it was just a late night humour thang...I could give a fuck what you think of me.  As far as liking GN'R because of Oh My God...that is really fucking cool...it is good to see that Axl gained a fan base from one single...I love the song too...but as far as saying that things are moving in a better direction musically since UYI is fucked...those albums rock...as will CD...but don't put UYI down just cause you are listening back to it...that is not cool.

and the muppetness continues. muppet-osity? nah, muppetness.

a) Late night humour? I've been arrested by the police with thirty kilo's of heroin wearing a fuck the police t-shirt and laughed harder.

b) "I could give a fuck what you think of me" From my having said "like i care what you appreciate" it must be seen that your opinion doesnt interest me; therefore you saying "I could give a fuck what you think of me" doesnt even register.

c) I said the illusions were an uneasy step forward. How on earth you could take that as meaning "as far as saying that things are moving in a better direction musically since UYI is fucked." I have no idea where you reached that conclusion. It really does baffle me. Surely a step forward, uneasy or not (and its clear that the bands inernal power struggle and poor communication removed fleuncy and continuity; which appetite has in abundance) is a good thing. And any further steps forward should be a good thing too.

d) Your other comment, not directed at me but i'll respond to it anyway, of "show respect where its due" is bullshit in light of "KILL YOUR IDOLS" which (even though you don't seem to understand it) surely means that if you respect something or someone you should be unmerciless in your apprasial of all their actions. It is the greatest respect possible(pretty oedipal in nature, but true nonetheless)
