What are everybody's favourite GNR performance from any era?  I'll go for Ritz '88. It was the original line up and it was absolutely flawless!!  :)

Philly 2002.

oops, that was cancelled.

for rizzle this time:
Rock In Rio IV.

oh crap.  that was cancelled, too!

come on, Axl!  make Rock in Rio V your BEST ever!  raise the bar from my REAL favorite concert, Madison Square Garden 2003 (the last concert :crybaby:.)

the band was INSANLY tight, and they had the Conan's donuts thing!

Ritz '88 is fucking great. One of the best shows in musical history. The band sounds incredibly perfect.

And I love the show they did in Paris in the UYI tour. It was recorded for TV, and I saw in a national channel, here in Spain. It was much better than the Tokyo show released in DVD's.

But I hope to see another great show on May 28th. Keep on prayin'.

Odd, but i happen to like RIR3 and '02 VMA's, i know not everyone feels the same about the VMA's but let's face it, nobody else that performed that night were near as good, live, Axl is one of the best singers i've ever heard. So close to the CD counter-parts.. then you see supposed 'musicians' such as eminem and 50cent lip synching, yet they still stay in the top 10 with some of the shittiest songs ever made, not even worthy of Aqua, ffs.
