I think when Axl decides to show his face to the camera's again (Video camera's that is) I think he should do a big interview to clear up some shit, like with Larry King, or a big Kurt Loder interview, something called THE TRUTH, someone big, I think a lot of people think hes a dickhead and is solely responsible for the breakup and everything. Most people out there won't even give Chinese Democracy the time of day, they need to know exactly what happened.

I think an MTV special with Kurt Loader would be far and away the best option.  It is a great idea.  Would be able to reintroduce himself to the world and garner respect and fans.

An interview should take place with Kurt Loder, as he is one of Axl's most loyal supporters. This would be the perfect opportunity for Axl to set the record straight and achieve some positive promotion for the tour and album towards the general public  :)

OK, so what exactly is there to clear up? Anyone seen VH1's Behind the Music? It sounds to me like Axl forced things onto the band, such as the horn section, etc. when all they ever wanted was to be a ROCK BAND. Is he as big of a dickhead as they are portraying him as? Probably not. But he IS a dickhead. Just look at all the cancelled concerts, delays with Chinese Democracy, jumping into the audience and starting fights/RIOTS, etc. The guy has done plenty of things that would indicate he's an asshole. That's not to say that the other ex-band members aren't assholes too. They're probably jerks too and it sounds like they've exaggerated some things for sure. But let's not forget that Axl isn't exactly the nicest guy around, so much of what the ex-Gunners have complained about is probably closer to the truth than Axl fans would like to admit. :nod:

As for who he should talk to for getting good publicity, it's gotta be Kurt Loder I would think.  :)

Shut the fuck up asswhipe! I hate Scott Weiland and STP with a passion and GN'R is my second favorite band ever behind Led Zeppelin. Just shut the fuck up and understand the difference between admitting the truth and hating someone. I love GN'R (both old and new) and its former members including Axl. There's nothing wrong with pointing out that rock stars, in general, are ASSHOLES to the infinite degree. Get a clue man, get a clue!
