Are there too many dates?
« on: April 21, 2006, 08:13:59 AM »
with 2 more shows confirmed for the US, has Axl got too many performances for his voice to cope with? Because its pretty tiring stuff.
will he finish the tour?

Your thoughts?

Actually, Mick Jagger died like 20 years ago, and this is his fifth clone now.

Just kidding. No, not too many dates, because many of us wanted to see GNR for ages.

I never thought I would ever complain about too much where gnr are concerned but there is a good point in this, I have been thinking the same too.

I hope axl's been taking his vitamins cos he is gonna need them.

I agree.

I think the 2002 fuck up was due to Axl being out of shape. I think he realized he wasn't ready and pulled out.

Now he's ready!

If I didn't live in England I'd be there on the 14th. I'll just have to wait untill Donnington.

With a day off between show dates and if all else holds up not other shows between the 17th and their shows in Europe..I think we should see some interesting shows..

Can Axl survive 4 shows and keep his vocals strong...time will tell.
Btw..does anyone know who's still in the band?

No. Bowie tours consecutively, and he was 55 during his last tour about 2 years ago.

DAMN HE IS NOT THAT FUCKING OLD!!!

Madonna is 47. Aerosmith rocked hard in their 40's. Iron Maiden anyone? Sheesh! Seeing him run around (not as much as a maniac on speed) and jumping on pianos wasn't enough to prove anything to you guys. He's probably healthier than some 25 year olds. Vitamins? Cmon. In ten years you'll be asking if he brought enough diapers for himself.

Axl wouldn't do it if he didn't think he could.

Madonna can't/doesn't sing. She lip syncs. Whenever she sings live it sounds like a sack of cats drowning in a river.

In the UYI tour axl took vitamin supplements because of physical stresses, I am assuming that he will this tour.

I was talking more about energy and looks. Actually she didn't lip sinc at the grammys and i thaught she sounded sweet. Why does everyone hate her. Am i missing something?

Anyways these days 40s are the new 30s. I remember when 30s seemed old but now it seems thats when adulthood really begins. I try to take care of my health (aside from the drinking and occasional nose candy, xtc etc.. so that when i'm 44 i can still run around and get laid like Axl probably does.
