I always thought it was weird how Slash defended Axl (and still does to this day) when he used the N word. He said he understood where Axl was coming from. Axl explains it by saying when he used that word he meant the bad black people not the good ones, still I don't feel it was necessary however he meant it.

yea, the lyrics are pretty offensive on the face of it. I aint gay or an imigrant so i dont care but people were obviously going to make some noise about that song.

some of the ballsiest lyrics ever. gc'mon, really, rappers and black comedians bash the crap out of white people all the friggin time. oh, but that's ok!! the onetime a white dude hits back hard, the song gets rheemed. i even hear it's being yanked from all future pressings of Lies...that's a travesty.

on another note, yes, Axl does hate all polish people and jews. eskimoes, mayans and nepalese too. I also understand he dispises albinos and dwarfs.

I remember when GNR came for the first time to here (Argentina) in 1992 it was said something similar, that Axl doesn't want to play for argentinian people, and "we are going to put their arrows in their ass" or "we are going to burn our boots after we leave Argentina" but it was all bullshit. It was a gosip started by the press. Unfourtunately some people believe it and did want to go to the shows, or didn't want their sons or daughters to and it was very popular a girl who killed herself because his father didn't let her go to the show.  

So I think that is happening again there in Poland, I think is all about the press.
