last nite when i was watching e3 on G4 they had a guns and roses interview on it. pretty kool seeing guns related stuff on a show. its been a while...........any see any other guns and roses reports on tv?

It was during the 8:30-ish edition of The Feed (Attack of the Show's random entertainment news segment). It was basically a rehash of what we've already heard about how Axl "announced" that ChiDem will be released this fall...but with the spin that Axl was being vague and flighty, quoting that Axl said it will be out either fall or late fall, then said it would be out this year. It wasn't that great of a blurb, but what fascinated me was that no one commented on it, especially Kevin P. who you think would have pimped out the fact that AotS was going to do a segment next week on the Super GnR Fan. See, that's why he sucks balls.

ps3 is way to overpriced and gta will be on both platforms therefore x360 will win

what do you mean um yeah?

PS3 offers absolutely nothing new apart from graphics. No one is even excited about it. It's also well overpriced.

The Nintendo Wii will be half the price of its competitors, have many more exclusive games PLUS much more third party support than the Gamecube had, and have a revolutionary sensor-based control system. If you'd done any research, you would know that Nintendo are well in the running to top the market with the Wii.

It'll definitely be the best of the 3.

Someone ought to fire the Nintendo Marketing department.

So the Gamecube was coming. "lets make it small and purple that'll surely make the BIG Black Xbox and Awesome Black PS2 look wimpy. i mean come on Purple is Scary, Dinosaurs are Scary, look at Barney."

So the Next Console is coming, named Revolution and looks so freakin cool in Silver and Black. the Marketing team then sit down and say "We need a new name, something that sounds cool and means this console is for everyone"...... They obviously didn't check that Wii (We) also stands for something else in the western world and believe me Kids are already making fun. I mean would you like a Console like the Playstation or something that sounds like a name for Urinating?

I mean it'll probably be an Awesome console but they really should've stuck with the Revolution. Sounds Big and Strong.

It worked for publicity. Once you get used to the name, it's not that bad. Almost kinda cool. But one thing is for sure, the console will be amazing.

I am myself a big Sony fan. and for some reason i always buy the Nintendo Console last. I had an Xbox and PS2 LOONNNGGG before i had a Nintendo. Why? the games on the Nintendo, the range wasn't as strong as the others. I like GTA, Sports and Racing games. The PS2 had all the GTA, and Racing Games, the Xbox had the Sport games and the Racing games (Save more Replays on Xbox's Hard Drive). Nintendo didn't have any games that i wanted that weren't on other consoles. I finally got a Gamecube (Black) and i've played it about 10 times in 1 year and a half. the PS2 and Xbox have seen laods of Action and if the GC wasn't a Xmas present i would've taken it back ALONG time ago. Me and my friends have no interest in the Wii since we're BIG GTA fans and thats only on Xbox and PS3.

I remember reading a poll once on some games website. about 2 years ago which asked peoples opinions on Each Console and the common result was that the Xbox was more Adult driven, Sony was more driven to cover all markets and Nintendo for Kids. the only ADULT game the Nintendo has really is Res Evil but even the Xbox 360 is offering "Dead Rising" that IMO will Entertain traditional Zombie fans with its Dawn of the Dead Mall type gameplay i mean look at this screenshot:

Nintendo will probably have an awesome console and it may do very well but from my experience alot more Teens and Adults trust the other two for their gaming needs.

The 360 will be an established console with a decent headstart on the rest. It has IMO the best games: Halo, TC advanced warfighter, Splinter cell (they still need to do a snow level on splinter cell with footprints and stuff, how cool would that be). I dont think the playstation 3 will be as popular. You snooze, you lose.

I have respect for all consoles. If you think logically then you probably would have too because the the PS2, GC and XBox generation didn't differ much from each other. Especialy the EA games (which is about 50%) were just released on all consoles, so it didn't really matter.

But it's gonna be different this year. After all, Nintendo has to do someting because if they handle the same strategy as they did last years, they certainly lose. It didn't work. So: they gotta do it different this time.

After what I learned, Wii, and the DS, is going to be a console that's gonna be aimed at a much larger public. Not just 'cool' games, for testosteron fuelled adolescents like the ones who I see a lot around here. Like Halo, GTA, Dawn of the Dead (yes it LOOKS cool but does it actually plays?). The DS had a game with cute dogs, i aimed at younger girls. And it had some very inventive puzzle games too, aimed at older people.

That's the way Nin wants to go. I don't know if it really will work, but I'll definetely gonna buy that console.

my kid wants a new system for the xmas season of 2006, i want to play all the NES, SNES, N64, GC, TG-16, SEGA, games from 1982-2006. lets see then what am i going to plop my money out on. Wii. i can pack up all the old systems and put them away and save space.

They are all online, right out of the box.
They are all wireless (controllers) (or wired if you prefer).
They are all backwards compatible (previous disks)
They are all (eventually) will have GTA (online or not)
HD Graphics don't mean crap on a non-HD TV

I have literally every system ever made (except for a neogeoCD) i like them all. but the Wii is the best deal of them all AS LONG AS nintendo pulls their heads out of their asses on marketing & 3rd party fees. on the start Wii will blow away PS3 in sales due to $$$. once xbox fixes their 360 so it works and doesn't crash, catch on fire, melt, red ring of death, wreck CDs, and tell your mommy off, they will stand a good chance.

by the way, EA doesn't make great games, they just don't have good competition.

Will the 360 have GT, Warhawk, Killzone, Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy? No sir, they will not. Therefor, PS3 wins, but since I am not an idiot, I will get the other two systems too (Halo 3, Dead Rising FTW and Red Steel and other Nintendo madness FTW).
