Let's try to give our input to gn'r management and the band and tell them which songs the fans see best choices as first single, best single, best new song they don't play any more......We'll collect info from a few forums, compile the results and then send them off the band management. Then, they can do with it whatever they want...including simply igrore it.

Chinese Democracy or Better would probably get the most airplay. TWAT and Madagasar are my favs though.

Have we heard the complete Check Mate? If yes, maybe it makes sense to add it to the list....Management will not be very happy it has leaked but once it has it's better for them to know the response it got.

I've always thought that a rock band should use a rocker type song as the first single,it makes more sense to me. So I went with Better. Altough I think it be a great idea to use a rocker track from the album that has not been heard.

I agree the first single should be a rocker.
I'm not so sure if it has to be an unheard song though. For one, an unheard song will need more time to get assimilated and liked/disliked by the fans, and two, by the time the album gets released, there will not be many surprises left.
