LET'S SEE!  my long and winding story of why i'm here and why i have more posts than everyone execpt Rock Diva and 2na.

THERE WAS A TIME when this kid with a RECKLESS LIFE used to be a NICE BOY and a BETTER person.  THERE WAS A TIME when i listened to fairly boring music.  anywho, i heard WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE and i'm like d00d this sucks!  Axl sounded like a DEAD HORSE or mabye a PROSTITUTE with his orgasming in that song (much like in ROCKET QUEEN or MY WORLD).  anywho, i stayed away from Guns like a SILKWORM stays away from a raging LOCOMOTIVE.

back on topic...uhh...so my dad was a huge GN'R fan back in the day, and when they decided to MOVE TO THE CITY of Chicago, i was forced to go.  sooooooooo...i went, and it was probably one of the best concerts ever.  it was a true PERFECT CRIME on my dad's part, because he probably figured i'd like it.

anyway, after the concert, i kinda went on a Guns BREAKDOWN and didn't listen to them for a while.

then i got Use Your Illusion II for something (i can't recall for what, i was probably PRETTY TIED UP at the time.) and i said, 'GN'R! YOU COULD BE MINE!  actually, you SHOULD be mine!'.

so then after a year or so, i joined the boards and here i am now.

DON'T DAMN ME for not liking Guns right away, shit happens when you party naked.

peace
they'll be feeding us
they'll be feeding on us

Somewhere between 7-8 years old I was on my way to a local store to spend my allowence with some friends. As we walked behind an appartment building, there was a song being blared from one of the balcony's. "Take me down to the Paradise City..." I stopped my friends and had them listen. I then counted the balcony it was coming from as there was a guy standing there with a bandanna around his head. I went up and asked him what he was playing..Then and there is where it all started. I've been a huge fan for better than half of my life now.

first time I heard them play Jungle on the radio.... I was.... in my early teens
I'm dying to catch my breath, oh why don't I ever learn, I've lost all my trust, though I have surely tried to turn it around... can you still see the heart of me?
