GN'R supporting Stones 20th Aug in UK?
« Reply #15 on: May 23, 2006, 12:31:49 PM »
Hey guys,
Has it been confirmed anywhere that GN'R are supporting the Stones on the 20th Aug at Twickenham?
I called Ticketmaster and checked out a few other things, but nothing confirmed so far.
The Charlatans are supporting for the same gig on the 22nd Aug.
But on they're Website they are only down with the Stones for 22nd not 20th, so it could be GN'R on the 20th?
Hope so!!
Cheers!
 :D

Yeah right, they do a show in front of 1 million+ people for free in Rio de Janeiro.

They charge 60,000 English people £150 and more.

How is that fair.

A) does it matter?
B) Brazil is poor, what do you expect? nobody would show up if the admission was the same as at a regular GnR concert.
C) See above and understand England is a 1st world country, if they didn't have to pay, nobody should, which is BS seeing as CD's make dick in terms of money these days.

Yeah, your right. I mean the rolling stones do loads of work for charity. They played a brilliant set at live 8 eh?

I'm not prepared to pay stupid amounts of money for a ticket so I can subsidise ticket prices for some chump in Brazil.

You completely contradict yourelf when you say 'if they shouldn't have to pay, no-one should'

£150?    Fuuuuuuuuck that.

If Rio gets a gig for free then UK should at least get a discount! £150! No thank you.
