good god... i was reading this during the show but now there is way too much to go through.  axl fd up on patience, i cringed.  he did look a little scared up there for some reason at times.  but during patience he stopped the wistle part and sang the first word of the song, then jumped back into the wistle.  woops, i felt so bad for him.

Some people said Axl gave up halfway through "Better"... no way, he was jamming, and even screamed when he was supposed to scream.

He was moving around with lots of energy in that song.  What kind of energy will he have for all those other new songs he's not played live yet ever?  That's why I won't be sad to see older AFD songs get moved off the setlist.

I think they need to slow Better down when it's life though.  Crap it's hard to sing when that first verse starts.

I think though, that if he gets...say, a spot on Letterman or Leno... or SNL... there's not lots of places to run, and he'd be communicating to a camera and not to a crowd = his voice wouldn't be effected by that.  The point would be to get people at home to think "wow he sounds good"

Isn't the stage a stadium persay? Maybe he was thinking it was Hammerstein in NYC..small stage and not alot of running needed

its not like we are trying to fool joe public.  i think we want him to be able to run and sing, or just not do it. stay more stationary if it gives a better performance.  but not try to fool the world on late night tv.

doubtful, i dont know most of the areas in europe but im sure they are quite larger stages than the hammer, and im sure axl isnt that stupid.
