Guns N' Roses announce UK tour
The band confirm first British jaunt since 1993

Guns n' Roses have announced details of a full UK tour, their first since 1993.

The band, led by frontman Axl Rose, will play their biggest trek on these shores for years in July, kicking off at Sheffield's Hallam FM Arena on July 18, support will come from Bullet For My Valentine.

Following on from their recent comeback shows in New York, the group have already announced that they will be playing the Download Festival on June 11 and a warm-up show at London's Hammersmith Apollo on June 7.

Guns n' Roses full UK tour now will hit:

London Hammersmith Apollo (June 7)
Download Festival (11)
Sheffield Hallam FM Arena (July 18)
Newcastle Metro Radio Arena (19)
Glasgow SECC (21)
Manchester MEN Arena (23)
Birmingham NEC (25)
Nottingham Arena (27)
London Wembley Arena (30)

Tickets are set to go on sale on June 2 at 9am. For availability go to NME.COM/Gigs.

il be a london but its a shame bout them taking cardiff out of the list coz the cardiff international arena is a nice venue

i wouldnt think there would be a need for a presale as the venues can hold alot of people the venues that are being played hold atleast 10,000 people so there should be enough tickets.

If Zane Lowe or Jo Whiley gets hold of this on Radio 1 and really promotes it, then they will surely need a presale.

I sound like a broken record but gnr need to release a song before the UK tour.

I don't, as it stands, gnr have nothing to promote if nothing is released then they won't sell out, IMO, either way, i'm going to birmingham

i just think they won't sell out as quick as people think, it depends if people notice or not the fact there coming over to do a tour i think, but yeah like you said there only playing a few tracks on the upcoming album, so bit of a dissapointment but never the less ive never seen them before so im looking forward to this so bad!!

Hey guys, looks like there'll be no pre-sale cause i'm on the Hallam Sheffield arena mailing list and it just says the 2nd. Tickets are Ã‚£37.50, booking fee may apply apparently.

they have updated ticketmaster... not with dates but 2 extra links when you search for gnr, one is "Guns N Roses - Standing" the other "Guns N Roses - Seats"
