« on: May 31, 2006, 05:56:13 PM »
Everyone remembers how axls powerful Whinny voice was during the UYI days.  It was a 10 fucking out 10 Sound!!! 2002 I kinda lets just say :crybaby:  :puke:   But this year his voice did improve but according to his new songs he cant hit the high notes like he could and runs out breath to easly! I aint bullshitting

I love axl and im gonna see his concerts this year but hes gotta go running and practice them high notes or somthing idk lol.  What do u guys think

that axl has a good voice lol, i know where your coming from , i feel hes doing very well at the moment , for example he sings sweet child o mine live better now than he has ever done, except maybe the version at the ritz but i feel hes doing alright for the time being!, we will see how his voice is after the very end of the tour which is a long long time to go lol

he was just as bad during the Illusions, dude.

he had a rasp, but couldn't hit notes, ran out of breath and totally forgot/left out lines of songs.

i'd rather hear less rasp and him being able to do easier things than have a rasp and miss notes everywhere.

maybe by the time the US tour comes around or so Axl may have a little rasp and be able to last longer( as in not lose his breath) during songs, we have to remember its been 4 years since a tour and I have to say hes doing great after a 4 year hiatus congrats to AXL!!!! :D

I think we are a bit over-sensible when it come to Axl's voice. His voice was horrible sometime during the UYI tour, he could barely sing. It's awesome now.

His voice has always come and gone. Sometimes he has it and sometimes he doesn't. There is just no getting around it. I remember back when they did that show for MTV, Live At The Ritz my cousin was like, Dude they sounded like shit!! Axl doesnt sound anything like he does on tape! He couldnt hit the high notes! And I of course was getting pissed off at my cousin for bashing Axl even back then. LOL! But hey, it is what it is. I still love Axl Rose to this day. Its the main reason I have this damn computer right now. So I can keep up with whats up with Axl! :retard:  :paranoid:

at least he can rasp now, he couldnt do that till the end of the US 02 tour, i think the NY 12th may 06 show was one of his best ever vocal wise, u cant expect 100% from axl every night, gnr songs are very hard to sing, hopefully he will find his rythem where it doesnt take him too much air to pull everything off.
