Of course there is a full GNR RAR video, nobody said there wasn't.

Those idiots at www.gunsnrosesonline.de bashing WDR Rockpalast are a bunch of ignorant and clueless of the facts morons!  Rockpalast has to go through this crap with bands that don't want to follow the rules, EVERY year and GNR doesn't deserve any special consideration. Whether we like it or not, the new GNR has to earn their respect and work their way back up the "food chain". That's how the music biz works, and if Axl, GNR’s mgmt, and us fans don't like it, tough shite! Hell, look how GNR f--ked up their last tour. No promoter or venue trust this damn band.

 

Brand X (Velvet Revolver) played the RAR last year and was simulcast, and had NO problems. They put on a good show and stayed within their time slot. None of the other major RAR bands this year have had any problems with WDR Rockpalast, ONLY GNR and people that want to make excuses and lie for their arse.

Didn’t see Metallica have any problems last night with their RAR simulcast, and they put on an incredible gig that ran well over their time slot, but WDR Rockpalast stuck right with them. Nuff said.

Would love to have a recording of this show, no matter if it is audio or video. Now, that we offically know the the pro-shot video thingy was fucked up:

Hey guys,

I just came back from Rock am Ring and yesterday I talked to a camera-guy from WDR. Hey said EVERYTHING is being recorded for the WDR/Rockpalast in-house archives. I didnÂt ask him anything else GNR related because I didnÂt know about all that confusion, but I think this means that if they get the permission to use that material it will most probably be broadcasted sometime on WDR :D

Possible dates & times they show it on WDR:

Friday to Saturday, 10th June 11:15pm - 5:30am GMT - highlights Rock Am Ring
Saturday to Sunday, 11th June 11:10pm - 5:35am GMT - highlights Rock Am Ring
Sunday to Monday, 12th June 11:30pm - 1:15am GMT - t.b.a. gig
Sunday to Monday, 19th June 11:30pm - 1:15am GMT - t.b.a. gig
Sunday to Monday, 26th June 11:30pm - 1:15am GMT - t.b.a. gig
Sunday to Monday, 3th July 11:30pm - 1:30am GMT - t.b.a. gig

Rockpalast had their own booth at RaR. I talked to the guys there and they told me they expect only the old songs to be broadcasted. It's not definite yet, but chances for a full uncut gig are one in a million. :-|
