Phil Anselmo has one of those voices that's very difficult to copy...

Dime had one of those guitar tones that is very difficult to copy as well.
All in all I didn't mind it until the guitar solo. I know that guy from A7X can rip,but he did that solo no justice.

I agree, it's not bad a job all in all. even if I don't like avenged sevenfold, (though i'm sure some people on here will hate them just because there avenge sevenfold, not how good the song is.. *sigh* )

"I wanna hear you scream this shit for Dime!" That was the fucking highlight of the whole cover. Again the solo :paranoid:

I thought their rock am ring version was better than the recorded one... but the lead singer still looks like a loser.

I don't think any band could successfully(sp?) cover a Pantera song.

Rather than act like you're a complete moron who just got a fucking cock shoved down his throat on reading the post, maybe you can try making an intelligent response regarding the topic for once - just for a change.

Fear I think any band can cover any other band's song. They just have to show at least some enthusiasm for it before daring to commit it to record and make a complete arse of themselves.

Ture. And I know cover's are all about making the song your own. I just can't see anyone taking a song like Walk and getting the crazy guitar tone like Dimebag's. Or the drums for that matter.
