This is a great little interview.  Not sure when it was conducted.  He mentions at the end how he would have been into doing a couple of gigs that were offered... this leads me to believe it is decently recent being that he didn't seem at all into the idea of a reunion on the VH1's GnR Rockumentary.  Very promising and nice to hear he also considers the old line up the REAL band.

Flame away... but your band wouldn't have the songs to play or be able to sell out shows without this guy.

How do you call what he said in that interview being a dick?  I've never heard anyone say that Slash refused to work on Axl's songs.  That's complete nonsense.

You're the punk junior.  I've been an immense fan of this band since probably before you were born, and I'm not going to stop declaring my belief that this is NOT the real GnR just because some Johnny-come-lately fans like yourself have decided to hijack it and act as if this new concoction somehow hold up to the old even though they've done nothing to prove it.

Funny... some of you call me 'noob', yet, I've been rooting for them since '88.

according to Axl, Slash wouldn't do Izzy OR Axl's stuff.  and Slash and Duff didn't want to to Patience.  

oh wait.  i forgot.  nothing Axl says is true!  you can only trust Slash and his unbiased opinions on everything!

to be fair i wasnt around when they first came out either, but i listened to them since about the age of five and 14 years later i still am.
