Actually it is GNR - i have a ticket to prove it. i also saw them - Axl, Fortus, Ron, Dizzy etc.... and they played some songs - GNR songs. Bach also said - "guns n' fuckin roses", as a friend of the band i guess he'd know their name. Theres also an album (possibly) called chinese democracy - Guns N Roses. You get my point?

if i have 600 million dollars i could buy VR name, or even GNR (any name from a band)...tour with it...release cds and sell merch...that, makes my group, with a bunch of none skilled guys, GNRs?

This band has nothing to do with the LEGENDARY ROCK BAND GUNS N FUCKIN ROSES... its other style, other attitude, other musicians... except the fuckin name and that axl is in it.

Is that all you can come up with? seriously, because he played a solo that just happened to be from a female artist... are you that sexist and as an earlier poster said, ignorant? it still rocks the fuck outta anything Slash, Duff, Matt or Adler have done since GnR. This is in fact GnR, get over the fact that the original cast is dead! either get on board of get the fuck away from any GnR related forums/media etc.

I don't get it. What exactly is your problem? VR and the x member always play GNR songs at their concerts. So I guess that AXL who wrote the most of the songs can still sing these... under GNR or NOT band name...

I guess most of us would go to see AXL apart from the band's name ...

now... regarding the "beautiful" solo... I guess they really like it... otherwise they wouldn t play it...

Do you really like all the songs that all the bands play to all the concerts you ve ever been? Guess no... so move on...

No im not sexist or ignorant. looks like you didnt read my post. where da hell did i say anything against women? The point of cd.com is express opinions about GNR, not to acuse people of being things. Which at the end of the day is just low.

 All i have said is that beatiful is not a rock song. there are plenty of female rock artists and non rock i like.  When i see gnr i want 2 see powerful, edgey, agressive guitar work like in IRS, BETTER or OUT TA GET ME. Bumblefoot plays dont cry which cant Finck and Robin play some nine inch nails, led zep , etc...

I am on "board " as you put it. However i just free axl should release cd as solo material. Not because i want the old line to return, BUT becasue of the different direction the new material is.

Or maybe i should quote Brian May; "Axl and his Gunners"

Just expressing an opinion and i dont have a problem with axl playing old material apart the fact i want 2 hear more of cd.

by the way in Italy I noticed that in spite of the fact that there where most real metal fans ... as it was a METAL FESTIVAL and not only a GNR concert...  most people didn t know the new GNR songs ... but knew the lyrics from beautiful... hah  :p
