----------------------Free Domains----------------------------------Forum provides some fancy domain names when you register your forum, some of these are:

1) yourforum.tt.cx
2) yourforums.x.am
3) yourforum.999.org

All these domains are FREE & functioning as soon as your forum is installed.

----------------------Paid Domains---------------------------------
However, if you like to attach another PAID domain to your forum such as www.yourforum.com or www.yourforum.net etc., you first have to buy this domain name, then you've to point this domain name to the IP address of your server after which you've to to your Admin CP & attach this domain name to your forum.

you have to purchase a domain seperately and then make it forward to the forum site, kinda like with the .tk... same basic principal... so get a domain from go daddy or doteasy and then set it to mask the forumer url... so when someone wants to go to the forum, they type the domain name and it takes you directly there.
I'm dying to catch my breath, oh why don't I ever learn, I've lost all my trust, though I have surely tried to turn it around... can you still see the heart of me?

as far as I know, it can only be in one persons name, Ive never actually had to register one domain name for 2 clients at the same company.  Usually its one person per domain..

yep that can be done and most places depending on the company will let you purchase more than one year in advance (sometimes at a savings to you) so if you can upfront for a couple years its a bonus because then you dont have to worry about renewal dates every year
