wembley 30th tickets
« on: July 18, 2006, 10:12:11 AM »
i dont know if this is the right topic or its in the right place but i have 2 presale wembley tickets for the 30th. my mum died 2 weeks ago, the funeral was friday. now, do i go to let the stress out or not? it was unexpected, but she knew i loved gnr! i have the tat. i dont know if it would feel right going to have a good show (if axl turns up! but he has so far!) when she's not here. i just dont know if i should go or not. the money for the tickets dont matter, it's material after all. i may just give them away.

certain gnr songs are getting me through. i'm not going to say which ones but she knew.  it's hard to think that i may be having a good time in 2 weeks when it's so close. it makes me feel guilty thinking about it.

My mum died from a brain tumour early this year it totally devastated me but i still went to gnr at hammersmith and will also be going on 29th to wembley.
For me it felt right and it really helped me to feel better.

But i would say no one can tell you whether to go or not you need to do some soul searching and then go from there...

Also dont listen to those songs too much i had some songs that really helped me thru it but know i find it really hard to listen to them songs without it brinign all the memories/feelings back..

Good luck my thoughts are with you

Dude I'm Not Gonna Lie,

This is gonna hurt you for a long time I had my father pass away two years ago and I still think about him everyday. This may be a bad example but I had been playing golf with my dad for my whole life and has never had a different playing partner and it took me a long tme to step on a course without him but I did and it did make become flooded with emotions but I knew my Dad would want me to play.

The loss of someone as close as a parent never leaves you but your Mom wouldn't want you to deprive yourself of a good time. It's not being a bad person if anything you should go have a good time too pay tribute to your Mom.

She will be looking down on you form that higher place enjoying every note Ax; hits with you.
