who is the better songwriter as i am a huge fan of both i cant decide, musicaly and melody wise lennons more creative but lyricaly bobs greater!????? what yas think?

if i remember correctly, they're both on heroin at the time. although i've never seen the clip.

I wasn't really a fan of solo lennon, and dylan went on and on a bit sometimes and couldn't sing for shit, but because he wrote the lyrics to desolation row, I have to go for Dylan.

Although I'd take Kris Kristofferson over both of them to be honest

Its got to be Dylan. Liking him is a bit like likeing GnR in a way. Its quite a deep, personal experience that some people just dont understand.
