wow,

I just got back from the manchester show.

It was incredible,

I know you all already have read this, but yeah..

They played Better, The blues, IRS & Madagascar =D

Strangely their last 2 songs weren't just Nightrain then Paradise City, they sang Nightrain, and then performed IRS and My Michelle and Madagascar. Then lastly Paradise City.

The crowd was tired from about halfway through, as they were late on stage. Last time I saw them was at download festival, when they came on 5 minutes early!! So this time i got my true taste of GNR lateness.

It wasnt a problem though, it built up the tension for WTTJ. Which as ever was awesome, and you could feel the heat from the fireworks and flamethrowing effects on Live and Let Die, which in my opinion was one of the best performances that night, matching quality with Better.

Out of all the songs at download festival, the best ones performed were "Out ta get me" and "IRS".

Out of all the songs played at MEN tonight, the best ones performed in my opinion were "Live and Let Die", "Better" and "You could be mine".

Intense vocals on You Could be mine, and his screaming was fantastic on Live and Let Die.

But Better WAS the best song tonight. Me and my best friend screamed and went bonkers when it came on, and everyone else just looked at us haha. We sang along at the tops of our voices and headbanged, and it was all perfect, the guitars, the vocals. this is both our favourite song now, even moreso than the old songs.

Fantastic night tonight, wouldn't have traded it for the world.

=D

OOH And I forgot to say, Axl brought out his strange triangle crutch mic stand thing for Paradise City, y'know, the one that he used for paradise city in rock in rio.

I went crazy when i spotted it, haha. It was awesome.

Haha- after IRS i was screaming "Madagascar, Madagascar! (i was just one row from the front) and they sorta looked at eachother, then after a pause went into My Michelle but after that had finished i was screaming "Madagascar!" again and i was soo pleased when they played it!
