Axl slimmed down [official picture, tweaked?]

I know this is stupid, and not too important. First of all I'd like you to know that I think Axl is in great shape, I don't mind if he's fat or slim at all, because his voice is rocking like it should and I'm very happy with the band's performances. But, I was looking at this official picture (by George Chin?) and I noticed this:



Notice how Axl's stomach have been reduced, the crowd was smeared a little bit. You can take a look at the original picture or see the small version of it in Jarmo's site if you think I'm making this up. ( http://mms.businesswire.com/bwapps/mediaserver/ViewMedia?mgid=74094&vid=5  )

Any thoughts of why would they do this? I think it's a bit stupid since Axl looks really good as he is, or they could've used another picture.

Yeah i see what you mean.  I suppose they do this with all big stars, they've probably tweeked things that we havent noticed yet, hair, teeth etc.

Is this definately official though?

its weird cause Axl is doing that leaning back thing he does when he sings, so his stomach is going to stick out, he's not fat, seems silly to change the picture

Axl was 'fat' there, in comparison to the way he is now/the way he was back in the day, but at least he could lift up both arms, even that was a struggle for Vince

not so much that he was fat, cause if he didn't wear huge ass jerseys, he'd be fine.  but Vince is currently wearing Axl's 2002 attire.

Axl isn't fat, he's got more muscle now than ever.  If you look at all the pictures from this tour, going back to May, he looks very good, in fact, I thought he was getting thinner as the tour progressed.  And not all the pictures were taken by Chin and I don't believe people who took photos on their cell phones airbrushed Axl.

By the way, Axl has never been really "fat". Just a couple of pounds extra, that's all.

You know, it could be that Axl's shirt was cought in a draft kind of thing and made him look large, so the photographer removed it, poorly.
