When a GN'R gig was announced in Dublin I nearly had a heart attack, "Dublin is in Ireland!" I said to myself, "
I live in Ireland!" I shouted to myself.
So, skip forward to June 9th 2006. I have my ticket in my wallet, a GNR t-shirt and a smile on my face. After a long car journey from Belfast to Dublin with my sister and her best friend we arrive at the RDS and begin the infamous concert tradition of "early queueing".
The queue when we arrive at about 10.30am.

The first people in the queue, bastards. :p

The back of some heads.

Some more people queueing. It was VERY hot that day, I would have been burnt to a crisp without my Rockin' Sun Cream.

Finally I meet my nemesis, the Infamous Slashofvr. I gave him some sun cream.

He later poured water on my head and the big screen camera focused in on it for quite a while.
Mr. Teatime, my southern geeky equivalent.

My sister and me. Aren't I very ginger?

Bullet For My Valentine... not great.

Funeral For A Friend... perhaps the least rock n' roll looking band ever. Ok, but Welsh.

Excitement rising as the stage gets setup for GNR.

Brain's drums and Chris' wobbly keyboard are revealed!

Front Row! Score!

Axl and a Republic of Ireland flag.

Axl and a Piglet doll someone threw on stage. He gave it to Tommy.

Plus the video of me barely touching Axl has he ran past:

What a day it was!
