Further confirmation/speculation that GNR won't play VMA?

i had a weird dream the other night that axl performed a karoke version of wttj at the vma's. his braids were gone but his hair was grey and short. he also was playing one of those strap-on drums that you place on your stomach for like high school band marches or whatever. extremely bizzare.

Nah, that wasn't me. I've never posted a "rumor" on here in my life about
anything. OK, so here's the deal. Yes, I do work for MTV networks. My "contacts" (which are more than just acquaintances) work directly with the show. Axl is only out there to present the Killers. Those people were at the rehearsal yesterday. Now, like I told someone else who PM'd me yesterday, what he says besides that is up to him, but as of now, he is NOT performing. That is 100%, as of right now.

I can't say that it definitely, 100% won't change, but the time for a performance is NOT built into the show.

As for 2002, YES, it was planned the whole time. Even the day before the show. Those rehearsals were closed-off to most of the workers, but they knew it was happening. (Much the way a couple of the performances were this year.)

So anyway, I hope this clears up a lot of speculation. Although I'll "never say never," it is HIGHLY unlikely that Axl is doing anything else but an introduction. No video, no commercial, no November Rain, no duet with Rod Stewart, no comparing wallets with Justin Timberlake, or walking out with Tommy Hilfiger.

axl rose is going onstage presenting the award, fart and go off stage and im gonna be two inches from the tv waiting for a "big surprise" ensuring myself that guns n roses will play at the end of the show. its the end of the show and the credits are rolling and im still waiting to see if there is a chance guns n roses will play on the awards with my jaw hanging long ...LMAO

Now here's a guy with about 15 more posts than me on this site and he claims to have MTV contacts......If this were coming from someone like Lucky or Brownstone that would be more credible.  Believe this guy and you may as well go buy a copy of Weekly World News from Walmart.

I'm just going off of odds, and the odds of someone that's only been on this site a brief time causing trouble is more likley than 1 of the senior members.  Most of those guys are on here because they like GnR and want to spread good news about the band, then you have other people that merely join this site to create random posts claiming they have inside information just to mess with people.
