I understand axl perfectly. Publisihing a good record in a wrong time is a dissater to the band. To release a album is not a simple thing: finish the record and put it out to sell. It just doesn't work that way. Many bands in this world has made that misstake (or the record companies). Droping a album in the stores is all about how and when. If these two things are correct  a album will be succes, otherwise maybe not. This goes a little bit off topic but I hope everyone understands axl and his "schedule".

Um, where the hell have you been?  Axl has been in love with rap for years.  He used to wear and N.W.A baseball hat and actually tried to get them to open for GnR.  Seriously, your narrowminded viewpoint on Axl's taste in music is rather disturbing...who cares what kind of music he likes...its not like any of the new tunes we've heard had any hintings of rap in them.  Give me a break

I hope CD lives up to the melting pot rumor.  I would like to experience Axl and Co blending a variety of influences, and if that means a little Rap, then cool by me.  I want his music to be as unpredictable as his nature and subsequently shake the foundation of the modern music scene into taking a detour.

You're original statement was derrogatory towards rap, regardless of its intended purpose.  You could say Axl has been in love with rap for almost 20 years now, considering he's been into that culture since AFD.  As I stated, nothing in the new songs we've heard has indicated a shift in musical styles, which means your "worries" are unfounded and unnecessary.  

And by the way, count the stars under my name...that means I've been here A LOT longer than you have...post count does not equate seniority, so before you try to lump me in with n00bs with an agenda to piss people off, do yourself a favor and check to make sure you can back up those claims.  I don't post here often because of ignorant posts like your original post...yes, I said its ignorant...if Axl chose to rap, that's his business...get over yourself...have you ever heard 'My World'?  That sounds like rap to me.  How about "Taste Good, Don't It?" in the middle section of Rocket Queen during the UYI tour?  Yep, rap.  He's an artist and can express himself however he chooses.
