Nah I don't think it's a bit much yet, we have about four threads asking why slash left the band.  Thats no something thats hard to find fucking type it in your search bar.

okay thats just moronic... but to start a part for the mentally unstable is a bit much.  some just dont know how to  post in a forum.  i really dont care about the other parts of this site, but gnr 06 should not be cluttered

I didn't use a quote because this is aimed at not one person in particular but a whole lot of people. PM the mod's about it and quit replying to their threads. Easy enough. If you PM the Mod's about this kind of shit and there are enough of you...Im sure they will lock the thread. They have done it when I wrote them about things and also they gave me this same advice. Stop replying. Very Easy.

A deluded (or/and wasted) middle-aged woman in front of me, who managed to get with her husband to the rail thanks to tipping off security for "VIP passes" (as did many other so-called "fans"), started shouting at one point "Where's Slash?" right in front of Robin. I immediately yelled at her to shut the fuck up if she wants the show to continue. Almost got in a fight with her husband for that but I managed to shut her up. Yeah, try me, unlike many others, I go to shows completely sober and in a pretty good shape and trust me that way I can enjoy them much better and deal with assholes if needed.

And by the way...what are people like that even doing there in the first place? I cant stand an ignorant motherfucker like that. Giving your opinion on an internet forum is one thing...but to act like a complete jerk off at a show makes you fair game in my book. :finger:

First off, we were in line shortly after 4pm and there were only like 8 people in front of us - some had waited since 11am....kudos. So, we think we'll get stage no problem. Doors opened almost at 9pm and about 200+ people who were claimed by security to be "VIP pass" holders got ushered before everybody else. They took the entire rail, so we ended up in like what you would call a second row. The 10 or 15 such VIP people around me that I had a chance to observe and talk to did not know any of the new members, did not know any of the new songs, and did not even sing to most of the old songs. They all look like in their 30s and 40s, pretty drunk or wasted, and openly confessed that they had tipped the security $200+ for their "VIP" spots. And they bitched several times for me elbowing them when jumping around....still they would not make more space for me or let me and my girlfriend to the rail. Some of them were also paying the steep rates and staying at the Hard Rock but NOT because of the concert. So, my take is that these were for the most part spoiled rich people, who were there on vacation and happened to see there was a GN'R concert and maybe they were once fans and decided to check it out. Of course with money you can make your way though anywhere in vegas and they did. Why wait 8 hours in line like us morons?
They also claimed they had paid for an afterparty with the band but that hasn't been confirmed. There were people taken to a room after the show but only a few (like 20) and I had not heard of anything after that.

:\  Hopefully though you had a good time overall. I see you got to meet Robin Fink. That is a really cool picture. He has a warm smile, like he was enjoying meeting you. Your a lucky guy.
