Read my post!!!
it's a bullshit rumor!!!

Rumors usually are.

At this point, I wouldn't put much past Axl, but I highly doubt he'd cover a FNM song anywhere after FNM berated GNR in the media when FNM were opening for GNR and Metallica.

I happen to like FNM, perhaps because I never considered them a metal band.  I can see where someone who bought a CD of theirs thinking it was metal (or punk, or pop, or rock, or alternative, or funk) would be disappointed...  FNM were a bunch of strange fellows who did NOT get along with each other but managed to release several LP's containing elements of all of the above styles and more, music that some people consider brilliant but others consider...  Well...  Strange.

I used to wear concert/band tee-shirts all the time when I was in high school...  Of the few I've kept, the only two I still wear are the GNR "One in a Million" tee (it has a picture of Axl with a "Lies"-cover-like background and the words "Some say I'm crazy...  I guess I'll always be" scrawled in silver) and the FNM tee with all the band members standing in their underwear.  Sometimes random people recognize the GNR shirt and nod in acknowledgement.  But when I wear the FNM shirt I usually just get funny looks.  LOL.

i used to think Faith No More was like some awesome heavy metal band.  then i listened to their cd, and i lost faith in them.  they suck.

they are awesome. Angel dust is one of the best cds of the 90's, I guess you have to be into pattons unique style though. it's okay if you don't like them but don't say they suck, Bordin is one of the greatest drummers ever imo and Patton is a legend.  Mr. Bungle is better than FNM though. Axl really
loved FNM btw.

also to the person above if you think FNM was strange, try listening to any of Pattons other bands, you gotta listen to the cd california by mr. bungle that is one amazing thing from start to finish and the stupid Chili peppers stole the californication title from them and released a cd that wasn't even 1/100 as good.

and they would never cover this song because like I said it is a gay song written by fnm's gay keyboardist I don't think Axl would wanna sing I SWALLOWW!

It was I who said that "FNM were a bunch of strange fellows" and that "some people consider FNM brilliant but others consider them strange".  Personally, I think they're brilliant.  It's nice to "meet" someone else who does, too.   :)

I listened to Mr. Bungle many moons ago and I must admit that it was too strange for me...  At the time.  I wouldn't mind giving it another listen now, though; I just might like it!

it's cool that you like FNM and the underwear shirt especially sounds awesome although I would never wear it lol. You should give bungle another try it took me a few listens through california before I truly saw how amazing it was.

The underwear shirt is awesome!!  It says YOU FAT BASTARDS in big red letters on the back (which probably contributes to the funny looks i get while wearing it).  I've thought about walking into an Overeaters Anonymous meeting or a Weight Watchers club or something with it on, but I am not very big or strong so that probably wouldn't be a good idea.  Although I could probably outrun those fat bastards.

Anyhoo...  The older I get, the more open-minded I get towards music, so I will def. give Mr. Bungle another listen!

Want to be an Actor in a month or two, it's time to act now.

It won't cost you a dime. Future 6 actors (new 6 for each movie), most successful people with most referrals - 3 female and 3 male aspiring actors/models will be chosen for supporting role in the upcoming movie
