I Got Booed For Wearing A GNR Concert Shirt! Why?

I wore my brand spankin' new GNR SF Warfield shirt to school and I Seriosuly Got BOOS From other Students! IN HIGH SCHOOL!!!! What The Hell!!?!?! Now, this isnt just a rant,  I know that would go in the Jungle, but the real point of this post is asking Why in This time is GNR not liked upon, or EVEN RESPECTED?!?!?! I see people with Emo shirts who dont get shit like me for my Rock shirts *including about 10 GNR concert Ts and album covers, Judas Priest, Ramones, Faith No More, you get the point*. I mean, why is GNR hated so much today? They are known as the band "that did Sweet Child". And then when CD comes out, and if Guns are the flavor of the week on MTV, then people will be wearing GNR shirts as a Fashion Statement.  :(

Don't take this the wrong way but most high school kids are fucking stupid. They think they know so much, but they don't know shit. Other than when your a young child, I think people learn the most between the ages of 18-23. Once you get a little older you will understand what I'm saying. I graduated in 2000 and I got shit for listening to gnr back then, so I can imagine how it is today. Wear your gnr shirt with pride my friend and who the fuck cares what those idiots think. They are playing this stupid popularity contest game that doesn't mean dick. People were into the gothic thing in my day, now it's emo, It's all bullshit to me. Individuality is the key. Some of the most popular kids from my high school aren't doing any thing with their life's now a days anyway. That's my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.

Yes, Duffer, it is Science! lol, but I just think its so lame, and Im not even pissed that dont like GNR, in fact, I dont want everyone I know to like my music, but the fact that they are so rude about it and are unaccepting is what pisses me off. I even offered to burn the entire GNR collection for a bunch of my friends, stating with AFD, but they refused very rudely. Hell, Id take a free cd any day! Rant Over....For now.... :ninja:
