I don't get it... what the hell are you people so excited for? Guns N' Roses aren't the only ones that sold out at Madison Square Garden, you know. Motley Crue did it last year. Metallica, Eminem, Wrestling, etc. along with countless other acts have all sold out Madison Square Garden already.....

Yes, but GN'R aren't exactly todays hot topic, nor the teen flavour of the month, as all of your above bands have been. You don't seem to be much of a GN'R fan if selling out a big venue doesn't make you happy. :finger:

- Dude, what you should have said is that I don't seem too much of a fan because I don't suck Axl's cock like you do.....

Very true wolfpac, most notably Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band on their reunion tour.  From greasylake.org

That's what is great about Bruce.  I know on the last E Street band tour they would play the same venue 10 nights in a row and sell out each one.  They did that just to set or break another band's record.  Hell, the same fans might of been going, but they still sold out over 10 shows one night after the other.  The sets didn't even change all that much.

Correct M.E., the Rising tour was Giants Stadium at the Meadowlands.  10 sold out nights.  If it holds 80,000 for football, it was probably scaled back to 55,000 for the E Street shows.   That's the tri-state area.  In this case, they weren't consecutive.  They came back from Europe, play 3-4 nights.  Come back from Philly, 2-3 nights.  Come back from L.A., play 2-3 nights.  To top it off, they played 2 nights at Lincoln Field in Philly, and closed out the tour with 3 nights at Shea.  15 sold out stadium shows on one tour, all within 2 hours of each other.

iunno... the Stones sold 80,000 tickets in Saskatchewan... which is a province of less than 1 million... that means almost 1 in 10 ppl in this whole fuckin province saw the show (theoretically of course, assuming there was no one who saw them 2 times, and I know a few ppl that did... now Im just rambling... the stadium holds 40,000.  GO ROUGHRIDERS!)
