For the people from somewhere other than Canada and USA, What country do you guys prefer.  Who do you support and who do you hate. Hate what there doing and hate how there run.  People from USA and Canada, I could tell you not to vote but who would listen.  Do what you want. Post about what you think.

i didn't put any dont care, both suck, both rock options

To be honest, what with both countries currently having right-wing political parties in charge, I'm not particualrly a fan of either, but Canada's aways struck me as a more laid-back, less abrasive place.  I think America currently suffers from delusions of granduer and an over-inflated sense of their own importance in relation to the rest of te world, whereas Canada realises that the rest of us don't need it to survive, for that alone I guess I'd say I prefer Canada.  I probably enjoyed the time I spent in Canada more than the time I've spent in the USA as well.

But I don't really think I'm in a position to judge this fairly, and by saying this I'm not saying I prefer Canadian people to Americans or anything stupid like that, I know I can't generalise to an entire population based on my experiences with a few people or my opinions on their governments.

Good Post.  I am from canada and can't say I even prefer Canada from Us. USA does so many stupid things and there president i'm not a fan of but I have gone to USA and I loved it more than any place I've been In canada now thats just as a tourist without paying healthcare (we have free health care in canada) or having to deal with the government and police haha or anything else. People though i have noticed are way more friendly in Canada. now you get total jerks in canada as well as Us so i cant reall say we're nicer people.

I'm not voting.  I think it's a dumb idea.  Why would you ask what country you prefer?  It's not led zeppelin vs. black sabbath or anything.  It's two countries.

just as a side note, the Canadian Conservative party is actually left of the american democrats on the political spectrum (figure that one out) they support things like socialized medicine and government reform.

Ok, I live in the US.  There you go.  Still not voting.  Why would I vote for the US? It's not any 'better' or 'worse' than canada.  They are just different countries with similar international systems.  One is not 'better' than the other.

i know none are better and how would you figure it out. both countries with different ways on almost anything and everything.

just a simple poll that i wanted people to vote on.

This is a really lame thread.

I wouldn't have clicked on it, except for the fact that I want to let you all know how lame this is.
