i'm a pretend nhl fan. i only come along when playoffs are here. generally root for red wings. or a promising canadian team.

ya i havent been into at all these past couple yhears but ussualy get really into the leafs at playoff time but well....they didn't make the playoffs.

I hate what they have done to the NHL. They have done their best to force the enforcers (fighters) out of the league. Players like Stu Grimson and Tie Domi are responsible for getting me interested in the NHL. They need to bring real hockey back.

Here here! I'm sick of todays NHL with no fights or anything of the sort. I miss old time hockey.

Watch the penguins then. I've been to like 7-8 games this year, which is quite impressive considering I scavange for tickets, and I've seen 6 or 7 fights. If they leave I'm going to kill my self.

no fights? Which games have you been watching?

besides, hockey's not all about the fights anyways, there is some amazing new skill out there now. that said, i'd never want to see hockey without fighting.

I'm a huge Red Wings fan, so yeah, I've only seen 2 fights the past two seasons because most of the team is all skill and little brawn. Then playoff time comes around and they choke and lose in the first round. :crybaby:
